1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They allow a site to recognise your device on subsequent visits, to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, or to measure how the site is used. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, and similar browser storage mechanisms.
2. How Expentrips uses cookies
2.1 Marketing website (expentrips.com)
The marketing website uses a small set of strictly-necessary functional storage entries and, when you accept all cookies via the banner, third-party analytics. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies by default.

Marketing cookies
Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel are prepared in the codebase but not active until configured by the Operator. When enabled, they may be used for marketing attribution and retargeting; this Cookie Policy will be updated and consent re-requested where required.
2.2 Application and account portal (app.expentrips.com, account.expentrips.com)
The application and account portal use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver the service:

The application does not load third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics is added to the application, it will be documented here and consent obtained where required.
3. How to control cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through the browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from staying signed in to the Expentrips application; the marketing website remains fully usable without any cookies.

4. Changes to this Cookie Policy
The Operator may update this Cookie Policy when new technologies are introduced or when existing ones change. Material changes will be communicated by email to Workspace Owners and Company Admins, and the updated policy will be published at expentrips.com/cookies.html.
